New WP Logo…show your support
Here’s one of my recent WordPress Logo customizations (that sounds like such a mouthful, huh?). I’ve added a little twist to this download though.
For every dowload of this logo, I will donate a dollar to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research foundation. I’ve added an opt-in box, which once you’ve submitted your name and email, you’ll receive the link for the download. Don’t worry if you’ve already opted in to this site (you won’t get duplicate newsletters)- this is so I can track the actual downloads AND…..drumroll please…….
I will draw a name from the submitted names and will create a custom twitter background for someone. This download contest is running from March 28th – April 28th. If you’d like to donate a little something extra to this worthy cause, you can always check out one of the many Susan G. Komen sites, make a donation, sign up for a walk, or get something fun to wear to show your support.
These donations are being made in honor of my mom, Gail Mutter, who is a survivor of breast cancer (8 years now) , Joyce Davison (a survivor) and in loving memory of Jeannie Miller.
Feel free to right click and ‘save image as’ if you want to download the icon. 
You’re so cool… I’m gonna have to have you *consult* me in regards to marketing and promotional techniques for my site!

Thanks….although someone got a 404 error on the thank you page…my bad! Have to fix that now.
Keep me posted with your projects- I’ll do whatever I can! Do you have a facebook page for your site? The pages are GREAT tools for marketing…you don’t have to be logged into fb to see them (search engines pick them up) and you’re not limited to the amount of people like your profile!

Awesome! Thank you for this, WPChick! My mom is also a 9-yr survivor, so it’s near and dear to my heart as it is to yours. Love this idea. Puts the brain into motion wondering how I can do something similar.
